Thoughts of The New Year
Sunday, December 23, 2012
As this year winds down I think on to the next year. I want to make this year really count for some thing. I want to spend more time exercising and eating healthier. I really want to see changes in my body. I have seen some good changes so far. I have gone from a size 20 to a size 10. I have gone from only being able to walk around the block to walking over 3 miles and thinking nothing of it. I have made some changes in the way I eat. I have gone from sitting on the couch eating a huge bag of chips with dip when I wanted salty snacks to eating 2 oz of nuts and being happy to stop there. I have gone from drinking a 2 liter of diet soda a day to drinking 80 oz of water.
These few changes are the start to getting healthier. But I want to do more and I will. I am going to read more about nutrition and apply these facts to the way I eat. I am going to plan my meals and stick to it not going off eating unplanned foods and making unhealthy choices. I am going to run daily reports on what I eat and make changes to make it healthier.
I am going to workout more often during the day and not just doing the bare minamin to get by. I am going to watch fitness videos and do them not just sit on my butt and wish I was fitter. I will get up and move my body every day as much as I can. I will do new things that work my body to the fullest every day.
This is what I plan and what I will do in the coming year and in these last few day of this year I will make wiser choices to live healthier.
