Non scale victories and kindness!

Sunday, December 23, 2012

Well, my weekly weigh in was today and I haven't lost( or gained) a lb! emoticon That really isn't a bad thing I guess. It is a lot better than gaining! emoticon
But the nice thing happened at church. I gave a dear older lady a hug and we exchanged greetings and then she says" How much weight Have you lost?" she said it in a way that sounded like she thought I'd lost quite a bit. I thanked her and told her that according to my scale I hadn't lost any. She insisted that I looked good! emoticon That really made my day. It meant more than what the scale could ever say. It's amazing how something like that makes you feel better and gives you all the more incentive to emoticon
Have a fantastic Christmas my SparkFriends and keep believing emoticon

I think the most important thing is how we feel about ourselves and obviously you look good because others notice.

Merry Christmas to you too!! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

emoticon At this time of year no gain is a good thing. I'm sure the loss is in the near future. Merry Christmas!

Isn't that great!!! It's possible you lost inches and the scale isn't reflecting it yet. In any event, Woohooo!!!!!

great NSV! It is good to keep aware of those because the scale doesn't always make sense in the short run. Hang in there!
