Well, it's more of a stay-cation than a vacation. Since I work in a school I have until after new years off from work and I'm excited! My plan is to hit the gym as much as possible, since I'm too poor to actually go on a vacation or anything I've started by cooking some food for the week, went to the gym, and basically just relaxing.
I'm about ready to fling the scale out the window, as it's still being a jerk. My weight really hasn't moved from 190, with the exception of some small fluctuations up and down that haven't amounted to much.. HOWEVER!!! I've been keeping tabs on my measurements and there are actually some changes! Right now there's a difference in my hip and thigh measurements, which is believable because those are generally where I lose (and consequently gain..) fat the quickest from. I can also see some differences in my muscle definition, especially in my legs. My calves are visibly more toned and there is muscle building in my quads! I've also been able to increase the weight on my ST reps, meaning I'm getting stronger :) Also, when I was getting ready to go out with friends one night I was in my underwear and bra and my friend commented that I looked a little more svelte :)
So all in all, things are progressing slowly! I haven't always been eating super well, especially with the holidays coming and treats flying around everywhere but I'm trying to keep it reasonable! Looking forward to taking my final measurements at the end of the year!!
