The past week has been OK.
Most days I ate below 2000 calories, and ate well: lots of fruits, vegetables, oats and many superfoods.
There was one day however, when I went over 2400 calories, and 460 of them came from chocolate... that is, 4 squares of large Milka chocolate, 8 squares of dark chocolate and 2 Raffaello bonbons. Amazing! They looked so small and harmless ; ))
Apart from oil and fat, chocolate and nuts are the most calorie-dense foods.
Yesterday DD and me made our Christmas baking: last year's Spark Recipe success Cranberry Almond Oatmeal Cookies (pumpkin puree substitutes butter!), and a new recipe which turned out OK but definitely not a success.
Eating Oatmeal Cookies is just as much pleasure as eating chocolates, but much easier to stop when it is enough.
I did all my planned workouts (Sun-Mon-Wed-Sat running, Tue-Thu stationary biking, Sat walking, and 6 strength training workouts).
This morning I weighed almost 2 kg less than last Sunday, back at the center of my goal range, so I could post a decent weekly average of 62.6 kg for Week 1 of Mardi Gras Maintainer challenge.
Christmas shopping, baking and cooking is all done, I only have to wrap all the gifts tomorrow morning.
