Wondering what my healthy snack should be today...

Normally I always make a turkey sandwich with low sodium turkey lunch meat on low calorie wheat bread and have an apple with it.
I have the items to make the sandwich, but, no fruit and I do not have the funds to get a bag of apples this week and to pick it myself would cost me a little too much.
What should I do here?. Last night's dinner also was bad for me as I had a salt loaded smart ones, and while very good as I had not eaten one in a while, it was a water retaining dish.
I have bottled water to take with me also for when mom and I return to mejer to take back a pair of slacks mom bought that are too big.
To date she has lost 23 lbs. since quitting weight watchers. While I hate the fact that she quit, I am ecstatic she has lost that much weight.
Now why can I not do the same?.
