So much to do and so little time to do it! Well, Christmas Day will come whether I am ready or not. So today I will do the best I can, finishing shopping, wrapping, food preparation and also the other chores that still need doing, cleaning, laundry, bill paying, etc. But what I must remember is that getting the 'perfect gift' for someone is not as important as sharing a hug with them on Christmas. Making the perfect dessert is far less important than just sitting and enjoying any dessert together. Making the house spotless is not as important as filling it with lots of family on Christmas Day. I vow to remember the reason for the season and fill my day with joy, peace and gratitude and reflecting on all the wonderful blessings in my life!
LOVED IT! DH AND I ARE HOME ALONE. WE HAVE NO DECORATIONS AND NO REASON TO DECORATE. WE ARE JUST TAKING IT EASY AND PREPARING FOR DH SURGERY JAN 15TH. WE WILL ATTEMPT TO NOT EXPOSE DH TO ANY SICK PEOPLE AND BELIEVE IT OR NOT WE HAVE DISCUSSED ALL OF THIS AND DECIDED HOUSE DECORATING OR CLEANING EXCEPT THE NECESSARY CLEANING WILL BE COUNTER PRODUCTIVE. AT THIS TIME LOVE IS EVERYTHING WE NEED. HUGS PAT IN MAINE. 1341 days ago
