The start of the week was a bit of a disaster. I was feeling overwhelmed by the horrific tragedy in Newtown, my schedule was booked solid, and the holiday stress started. By Wednesday I was a mess and eating all kinds of stuff I really didn't want. My body felt like crap. On Wednesday I started adding a 10 minute elliptical workout when I woke up. Thursday and today I decided I was totally not going to partake in any treats at school. I made it through two days of constant, wonderful looking bake goods and candy. After a while being able to say no made me feel strong. Tonight we went to a holiday party and I was able to stick to my plan. I got back on track and feel confident I can stay on track and still enjoy the Christmas foods and treats I love!
