So much for dooms day

So happy to say life is still going on it did not end so that is good. Anyway sorry to everyone i have not been around. Busy christmas shopping and such. I have been tracking and working out still so not to bad but my goals that i were supposed to reach today like going to bed by 12:30 am not going to happen i have been bad very bad. I have been horrible at eating fruit not my veggies but no fruit. I'm probably not going to reach my goal of 160 by christmas but maybe by the end of the month. I'm not angry at myself just disappointed that i haven't gotten my sleep under control at all. On a good note i have cut way down on tv watching so that is good. I set alarms to go to bed and i ignore them so that needs to stop. So i will keep trying. I also had a revelation the other day that i get to stressed and uptight. I need to be more positive in my everyday life. So i guess that is just another part of the journey. Tomorrow is the first of my christmas celebrations so will see how i do. Alright that is it for now.

    Keeping tracking is awesome! I've let go watching sodium the last few days. I guess I better remember to drink enough water, at that.

    This month is tough on us all. You are tracking and working out so you are doing good. Just keep pushing. The holidays will be over soon and life will find its balance again.

    did you know that the mayan calender never predicted dooms day, lol it just told of a change, they noticed a cycle of change every so many yrs, ( not sure how) but what they predicted is change and looks like your doinh your part, remember every day you try you are making progress, just because you don't nail it just how you wanted just means that you didn't get it this time and shows you how to do it later, have an awesome weekend!

    Way to go getting the veggies in! From a dietary standpoint the veggies are better than fruit for the most part because they don't have all the natural sugar and subsequent higher calorie count, and you get just as many nutrients with veggies, if not more than with fruit. Maybe try setting your alarm to go to be 15 minutes earlier than you actually want to go, so you give yourself a little warning/ unwind time. Good luck with your Christmas celebration!

    You are not bad. You have not been bad. You made some choices about healthy food that probably weren't in your best interest, but that's just a think you did - it's not bad or good, it just is.

YOU are awesome. YOU are powerful. YOU have the ability to decide to stay awake or go to sleep. And sometimes you chose one over the other. Maybe next time you'll make a different choice - whatever, it's not bad or good. It just is. No worries about it.

I think you are right in the focus on a positive attitude. Focusing on WHY you want to go to bed early and the good things it brings might be effective. And if it doesn't work everytime, then it's still cool if it even works once. :)

OMG - I sound so zen. Now if I can only find a way to apply this philosophy to my own life more consistently....

    Yes, keep trying! You will do this because you can. Sooner or later, you will find what works with you and you'll be able to stick with it. emoticon
