I have been feeling a bit of "blah" lately. I haven't been going to the gym. I haven't been meeting my goals and I failed the Ogden Police Department Physical Training test. I could not bench 90 pounds for one rep. I have just been feeling really bummed out.
I have a 10K coming up in about 2 weeks and I haven't really been running lately. I feeling a bit overwhelmed by that distance right now. I am having a bit of self doubt about a lot of things.
Yesterday, I received a letter in the mail about another police Physical Training tryout. This time it would be for Layton City Police Dept. I have three weeks to prepare and test again. I think that I can do it. I would rather work for Layton City anyway. But, I have to get started right now. I have to do what I can NOW!! I need to start practicing my jumping, my benching and my running to be able to pass. I Need to get my BUTT in GEAR!!!
Starting today. I am going to set some new goals and make it to the gym. I am really going to have to PRIORITIZED in order to be able accomplish this. This is really important to me. I needed this kind of motivation right now. I really am glad that I have a second chance!!! I am going to give it my all and do my BEST!!!
