Long Day!

Friday, December 21, 2012

I got up feeling tired and still feel that way. I had to go to my doctor to have my stitches removed from my back surgery. I talked to my sister this morning. My brother is back on the ventilator. He just could not breath good enough without it. He is still holding his own. So worried about him. I hope he begins to improve more and can speak soon. Don't want him to leave this world with Christ as his Savior. I tried to keep myself busy today with some knitting. It is very cold outside and windy. I can't do much in the house yet. So I listen to my favor ministers and knit. I have made a Tundra Hat with flaps and tie strings. First one I ever made. Silly things to think about while sitting here wondering what is going to happen to my brother. Keep praying for him. He needs all our prayers right now. Thank all of you for continuing praying for us. God bless you all.

John 14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
I am so thankful for the LORD. HE is my rock.

Knitting and listening are two of my favorite things to do when I need an emotional lift. I particularly enjoy listening to programs that challenge my thinking and forces me to confront my opinions. It's been a very busy past few days. Visited my father for a couple do days. Took him to his church today which is a very small nondenominational congregation. The pastor is someone I went to school with but have not seen him in a long time. Nice to catch up with him. A very nice day.

Have a peaceful Christmas. We have so much to be thankful, don't we?

Prayers said as I prayed for you and your brother; and knows this, " the L*RD makes and keeps his promises". And I pray your brother does not leave this world. Just remember Jesus promised that he would never leave us nor forsake us and to me that means he will be there for us in all things even concerning our loved ones! He also said he would give us the desires of our heart and to me that also means he will save our loved ones. Hoping for the best and I hope your brother will be healed, in His name, Susana

I don't think that is silly at all; our minds can only handle so much under stress, so if we can find pleasant things to occupy our minds when going through a hard time, that is good. Your hat sounds cute!
