Making a step to 2013

Have been thinking alot about my New Years plan. One step at a time. My goal is to start with the plan to make it to 150 by December 2013. That means 27 pounds to go. It is not an impossible goal. I will watch very close on my eating and keep up the threadmil every day or at least 3 times a week. I will also keep up with Zumba twice a week and add some of my own workouts here at home.
Another goal is to keep up with all my friends on SP. It is so great to be able to talk with people that understand what I go thru and be able to help them also.
I have been reading a book that says milk is a food, not a drink. So you should have only one glass a day. They suggest the fruit should be eaten with a protein to lessen the sugar. If you need butter on things, you should use almond butter. I already use just olive oil or canola oil. I know I have to push more water, 64 oz a day is a must. Vitamin C and B12 are important to get and dark berries have lots of both. So cranberries, black raspberries, black berries and blue berries are excellent for this. Salmon is the best fish choice or cold water fish (tuna and cod). They say that KIWI fruit is loaded with C and have very few calories. If you eat every three hours it would help maintain the hunger keeping the sugar levels even. You should take 20 mintues to eat. It is ok to have a cheat once a week to keep yourself under control. They say push 1000 mg of Vitamin C and fish oil pills. B12 should also be used. This is from a book called The Belly Fat diet by John Chatham. Just figure reading on different things like this will help to improve the eating habits.
I am hoping for a New Year and a new me. More thoughts will have to be made to focus on my goals of the year. Happiness is the best medicine for all. So look at a bright future with a light heart and a smile on your face. Like they say people will wonder what you are up to when you smile all the time.
