3 Recent Achievements

Thursday, December 20, 2012

My SparkCoach challenge for the day was to think positive by listing 3 recent achievements. So here are mine:

1. I ran my very first 10K in 55:02 minutes.
2. Lost 31.5 pounds total with 2.5 to go to goal.
3. Finished my Christmas shopping by December 2.

but I have one more.......

Last, but not grandmother passed away this morning after 98 years of life. Family drama has reared it's ugly head. In my short 49 years I have learned that I function best by dealing with things head on ....that way I can come to a place of peace and no worries. So, I got on the phone and talked to the people who were causing unnecessary problems and took care of it once and for all. It wasn't easy, but it's done and now I can rest and grieve appropriately.

I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother. Unfortunately, death of a loved one seems to bring out the worst in people. emoticon
