A Perfect Day!

Thursday, December 20, 2012

Like many of you, we have been going in all kinds of directions. Although this was a bit different! My DH had gotten Violently ill, one night about a week ago, where I was on the edge of calling 911! Now rest assured, HE IS WELL NOW!!!

During the middle of the night, he awoke with major cramping in his intestine/stomach area.
Now, I might have stated this before to some of you, but he is a survivor of Colon Cancer, and when THAT happened "Mother's Day 2003" with Emergency Surgery, and NO SYMTOMS, it was a total shock. So when the other night happened, we both, were overcome with fear, as I tried my absolute best to remain CALM, and not let my fear show.

I was able to get him back to bed, and basically watched him, until morning, when our FAMILY Doctor's office would open, I immediately called. I love our doctors, and they made all the plans, and arrangements to have my DH totally checked! Two days ago, everything was completed, NO PROBLEMS, and the procedures done! I quietly breathe a sigh of relief!

When all this was going on, I never left his side! No exercises at my Aerobics Class, no Zumba class, no pool! How could I leave him? So I did not! But once the call came in, yesterday, I got up this morning and said..."Okay, Bud, let's DO SOMETHING TODAY!" And so we did! I went to my Senior Aerobics, loved it, and a great workout! And him, I "asked him if he could finish some small errands, office with letters, bank, and then he was getting a cup of his favorite coffee!

Ahhhhh, this is PERFECT! As we end this week, on the up side, and keeping with our original Christmas plans, we are looking forward to spending our time with the grandkids, and family memebers. Oh and one more thing....DH's Birthday is tomorrow! What a PERFECT BIRTHDAY PRESENT....A CLEAN BILL OF HEALTH! And I am looking forward, to have him BLOW out the candles!!!
