Boy this weight is coming off slower than I thought it would. In spite of all the challenges and temptations, I have never followed Atk so closely and still, I have days and days where there is hardly any movement on the scale. I finally took my measurements but unfortunately w/o astarting #'s I won't see a change for a while. :0(
Still, 10-14 lbs in a month is not bad and I do feel a LOT better. Its tough weighing every day and seeing all the tiny fluctuations but I had a bad experience a couple of months ago with a workout regimen that forbade weighing for the 1st month and I gained 3-4 lbs!
I think I will calm down after a few more weeks and be able to start weighing once a week again but I'm just too nervous to do it now. I am SO much more active, am drinking SO much more water and am eating almost NO sugar of any kind so this has got to work.
Normally I jump right into OWL but this time I am doing just a slightly more generous version of Induction since I have so much weight to lose. I am going to increase the excercise even more, track my calories for a week, and decrease salt, nuts, cheese and dairy and see if I can blast my way off this plateau.
I also need to rely less on shakes and bars and avoid the new ATK entrees, as they have a VERY high sodium content. I had my first yesterday, a Tex Mex bfast scramble w/ Chiorizo sausage that I did not enjoy AT ALL and it had over1000mg sodium and repeated on me all mornng! YUCK! I can cook WAY better than that--just need to get up earlier! :0)
