I Might Be A Weight Lifter !!

My Favorite Gym ~ Curves ~ has been closed for almost 2 Weeks. I have worked out with the Weight Machines at Anytime Fitness 5 times now.
This is my New Favorite Machine at the Gym. The Lateral Pull Down. I went by the Diagram on the side of the machine and I LOVED how it felt. If it wasn't for the fact that I Can't, I'd love to do it all day long!! But the weight stops you after about 3 or 4 sets.
I googled it because I liked it so much that I wanted to be sure I was doing it correctly. Turns out I WAS doing it right, WOO-HOO!!
The Book I ordered last week arrived today. I will be reading up on EVERYTHING ~ And probably coming back here to ask Questions. The Trainer at the Gym doesn't seem too interested in helping or explaining things. I even tried another Branch of My Gym, but the Trainer there didn't even come out of the Office while I was there. I might be wrong, but I don't think I should have to go hunt the Trainer down and drag him or her away from the Computer or the Smart Phone every time I have a question.
While I was waiting for the New Book to get here, I was browsing the Used Books at Hastings, and I found 2 of them that looked like they would be good additions to my Fitness Library.
This one had lots of Articles, Illustrations, and Advice on using Machines AND Free Weights.
This one has a lot of Illustrations, too. It also gives a lot of advice about setting up a Training Program. It seems to tie together Fitness, Mental Health, and Vitality into your Senior Years.
I know that just having the Books sitting on the Shelf won't do me any good. From my Very Limited Experience, I would say that EVERYONE needs to checkout a Weight Lifting Program of some kind. The feeling of Strength and Accomplishment when you lift is Surprising and Empowering.
