Day 1 of many to come

Wednesday, December 19, 2012

Today is my first day with SP...I am doing my best to figure this website out. So far it has really helped me to be accountable. I find that it is harder than I thought to keep up on everything, but over time it will become easier. I didn't do too bad today (besides for 2 cheese pizza slices, but that is better than the 4 or 5 I would normally eat)...Little Steps. Had Girl Scouts today and we had the girls do crafts, an ornament exchange with one another and decorated sugar cookies (okay so I gave in, but I only had one and I made sure it was a small one). Had fun with all the girls...even got my 10 minute run in today, because I forgot the sprinkles at home and had to run and get them...so I literally ran and got them...10 minutes...I was dying when I got back and I forgot my inhaler at home too, so when I had an asthma attack that was fun...but glad I didn't just sit back and drive home to get them...made myself do something to benefit myself. The only hard part is I can't figure out what I want for dinner tonight...hubby made scrambled eggs and sausages and I don't want them...so what to do what to do...these are the tough decisions I have...what food should I eat versus what food do I want to eat...I would like to go with the should today. It might be a tuna and celery stick night with some ranch and carrot sticks. Today has been better than I imaged it to go...so yay to me!!! emoticon Katie emoticon

Katie...you're doing great!! Got to remember that there's a learning curve here and lots of nooks and crannies to get "lost" in...just enjoy it!! The folks you meet here are great and all in the "same boat" as you. This is not a diet, it's a new way of living and it does work!! I was so surprised when it worked and I'm still at it and doing good.

Keep on keeping on!! emoticon emoticon
