Need some suggestions!!

Wednesday, December 19, 2012

I have been STUCK at 183-185 since August and it's beginning to make me angry! This is week four of being back into a work out routine with no movement on the scale what so ever...while it has been discouraging I am pushing myself each week to stick with my workouts.

I just don't know what to do. It doesn't matter if I eat 1400 calories per day or 2000 a day, no changes. I am not gaining or losing.

Over the past couple of months I have tried low carbs and no carbs, elliptical and strength training, low cal and high protein.

Any suggestions or tips?

Drinking your water, and getting your 6-8 hours of sleep a night,
    may help !

Thanks for the suggestions!! I really appreciate them!! I am working on the water and added in some green tea as well. According to SP, the low end for me is 1420/day! Seems like a lot still but I will cut back if I still don't see any results :)

I agree with the water amount. I'd also recommend maybe eating at the lower end of your calorie range. Eat lots of fresh fruits and veggies to help make you feel full. I often add extra protein to help with hunger. Keep up on your exercise, too. Hang in there, you can do it!!

I find that the water really does help, too. Make sure you drink AT LEAST the 8 glasses, preferably more. And one of the other members suggested that if you don't see progress for a couple of weeks, continue your workout, but cut out 500 calories a day. Try that and see what happens.

I have a hard time loosing anything unless I drink the 8 glasses of 8oz water. Maybe this will help.
