Today I went jogging and I jogged for 30 minutes. This was only the third time I have ever done that so I'm very proud of myself! My pace was very slow; I wanted to ease myself into jogging again and I "only" jogged for 2.3 miles. My plan is to go jogging for 30 minutes three times a week and gradually start running faster and faster as my body get used to it and I get fitter. My goal is to be able to run a 5K in 30 minutes one day! I really love how challenging running is. I'm used to going for brisk walks and even though I walk almost as fast as I jogged today, it is so much tougher than walking! Afterwards you just feel great and so strong. I hope my legs aren't sore tomorrow though! I stretched properly once I was done so I should be okay.
I stayed within the lower end of my calorie range again today and I'm feeling pretty good about tomorrow's weigh-in. I don't want to get my hopes up as it's been less than a week since I last weighed myself and I had a couple of higher-calorie days after that as well. But I really hope to have lost a pound since last week! I would be sooo happy! We'll see how it goes.
