If I Were One of Santa's Reindeer I'd Be Slacker Reindeer
Wednesday, December 19, 2012
Yep, big ol' slacker for the month of December. And.... I don't even feel bad about it. I am still maintaining my weight, even showing the lower end of 135lbs some days. Things are busy and I'm okay with taking a break. In fact, since my weight is steady while I'm not watching things closely, I feel that I might see a pretty good loss for January, when I get back to it!
Let's see... what is new? We are on the downslope to the holiday vacation -
We are in for a busy couple of weeks, but it will be all wonderful things. We are finalizing everything for our reception on the 29th.

ALCOHOL - ____________NO CHECK!
DECORATIONS - __________NO CHECK!
I think we are down to needing to buy alcohol and making the decorations. I need to check with my mother on the status of the decorations. My mother has been so amazing. She has taken care of everything for this party. We would normally be ready to kill each other doing something like this, but she has been so great and we are doing this so low-key that it is just easy. I do need to ask the F-I-L to pick up our cheesecakes on Friday, or maybe Saturday before the party if he has the time. That way they will be as fresh as can be.
A big bummer with this party is it appears that my best friend may not be able to be there. She is coming from NM, some 1400 miles. She and her husband found it much cheaper to drive rather than fly that close to Christmas. But this last weekend her car died. They are so tight on funds they may not be able to fix the car and get here. IF they can fix the car. It might just be gonners.
I told her it is far more important for them to be financially stable than to make it to our party, but it makes me sad.
Anyhow - That is my life right now. Finishing up work, 11 days off (very busy days off). Not doing well with diet and exercise is non-existant, but I'm here and I am okay with it! I hope everyone else is doing well!
