WW- Week 1

Being the professional "dieter" that I am, I knew myself and what went wrong when I stepped on the scale Saturday morning. I knew before I left my house that my weight would either be the same, or even up a little... and this was after staying on track, writing everything down for a whole week, exercising 5 days and staying within my points... and I was right. I stayed the same with my weight. I had too much sodium in my meal the night before weighing in... and boy did my body hold onto the water!!! By Monday, I was back down where I was mid week last week. Frustrating? YES! But enough to set me back? NO! Just another learning exerience to add to my book of weight loss tips and tricks. emoticon emoticon
This time around with my WW journey is going well so far. I have stayed below or within my alloted points everyday and I am choosing much more power foods. I have essentially eliminated the junk foods... if I want something, I have a small serviing, or a bite or two, but I am counting in these points.
Hopefully the scale this coming Saturday will be better to me.
I have started doing a cardio workout Mon-Fri when I wake up. I have noticed my pants being a bit looser emoticon emoticon
Now, I need to keep pushing out that inner voice that says I am too tired/ too achy/ too stiff/ too lazy... this voice was very loud this morning, but I pushed through and still did my cardio workout. I know lack of sleep was playing on that inner voice... emoticon

    emoticon Very Well Done. Recognizing Non Scale Victorys and Learning Lessons are important parts of this Journey that often get overlooked when we let the Scale / Weigh In have too much attention.

    I am very salt sensitive too. I am trying to slowly ease away from processed foods where all the salt is but it isn't easy. It sounds like you are doing great!

    That is the problem with official weigh ins, 1 meal can damage them and they don't take non scale victories into account. I'm glad you realized the problem and did not let it brother you!
