Well, I have to say I have never been so glad for a year to end. Today, I just found out that my 95-year old grandmother just passed away! She went into the hospital last week due to internal bleeding. Now, she's in heaven with the Lord!

Even with the death of my grandmother, this year has been awful! I lost my job! My brother & dad were both in hospital within months of each other pertaining to health issues! The shooting in CT really touched my heart! Now, I know the bible says that God will not put on us more than we can bear. But this year has been too much! I cannot wait until January 1st!

But, I must say things are starting to turn around! I will miss my grandmother greatly, but at least she is no longer in any pain! In January, I will be starting a new job! With the new job, I, now, do not have to move in with my parents (Praise God)! I have a new apartment (even though I'm going to miss those vaulted ceilings in my last apartment) and I was able to donate some things to Goodwill! Even with my unpacking, I noticed there are some more things I can donate to others.

So, yes, I'm looking forward to a new year! Goodbye 2012!

Sorry to hear of your loss. 2013 is a year for you to move forward. You've been blessed to go through 2012 and things happen and hopefully you're encouraged by the tough patches you're making it "THROUGH".

I think the shooting in ct has taken a heart toll on us all. Holidays need to be merry not heartwrenching. I think donating uneeded item to Goodwill is a noble gesture
