Musings over my Coffee!

I am beginning to see that I am making progress with my organizing goals. Even through I have a few more boxes (much smaller than the ones originally gone thro), I am inventorying them, and placing them in open closet space.....Finally out-of-the-way and out-of-my-livingroom areas.

My weight loss group decided not to chance the slippery roads and mild snow fall, canceling our meeting for this week. Since we always take the last two weeks of December off, my next weigh-in will not arrive until after the New Year. I am hopeful that I will hold to my healthy-eating plan and have a nice loss to begin the new year. I would very much like to target a goal of under 200 pounds before I leave as leader of my group in April. Still, I am being very caution of exercise but hope to have enough to start some water aerobics when things settled down around here.

I was glad to see the Sparks news on Vitamin D. Just this past week, the doctor cautioned me to be getting more (about 2000IU per day). It always seems I am lacking something or rather in my system. Paid a visit to Walgreen just to grab the right dosage and will let you all know how effective it may be for me.

Looking forward to our adventure in McCleary, WA. Sparing the details until after our talks there but I am expecting the best outcome. Lots of good things happening in my own life this Christmas season. However, I had to stop watching TV....just dragging me into the pits of despair and seasonal depression.

Life does go on and I want to face it with positive affirmations. Life can be enjoyable again. I insist on it.

We DO have to insist on positivity in our lives, don't we? Negativity is such a waste of time and an energy drain. Keep up the good work! I am hoping your holiday time will treat you well and that the 200-lb goal will happen for you! You can do it! Thanks for the encouragement! Spark on! emoticon emoticon emoticon

I got so tired of TV, I disconnected it. What a joy! No more depressing news that is blown up by the media. No more listening to politicians mouthing platitudes. No more wasted time watching useless programming. Best decision I have made in a while.
