I'm at the weight I chose when I became a lifetime member of WW. I haven't been to a WW meeting since the 90s so it isn't likely that I would attend again. While I was on maintenance, the program changed from exchanges to points. In anger, I threw away the information about the exchange program so I would try to learn the new system points. I couldn't follow points. I always felt hungry. At that time, only some vegetables were free. The exchange system gave me free fruit and vegetables, a big difference.
I think about reading the WW website to find out how their new point system differs from the one that I was introduced to in the 90s. Most people say that there isn't much of a change. I went to a WW center near me. I loved the look of all the new books and gadgets, but I don't see the point in spending the money. I lost the weight this time without them.
The funny part of all this is that I wasn't trying to lose weight when I started to lose weight. I was stressed and not eating. I went to the gym a lot to keep my mind busy. Losing weight happened obviously, not eating and exercising a lot. I'm still feeling stressed, but I'm eating enough now, not to lose weight or at least, not to lose weight quickly. I'm exercising a lot but not as much as I did when I first started losing weight in September and October.
So now, I'm at the lifetime membership goal weight and I could pay for one meeting and go for free after that if I wanted to learn the new system since I never learned the point system in the first place. I tried doing it, but I never liked it or stayed with it.
I find SP easy to follow and most importantly it's free and I can do it at home. I don't need to give WW my money.
