Getting Back on Track

Honestly, it didn't take long to get off track. I was doing well with my gut (I have diverticulosis that gets flared up sometimes). I had a huge binge (who didn't) on Thanksgiving weekend and then immediately changed my diet to the Live Fit plan. Not good. My gut immediate got inflamed and I have had 3 weeks of misery. Its been 2 1/2 weeks since I took my butt to the gym. After loads of rest, a bland diet, and meds I am starting to feel better today and I am so ready to get back on my exercise plan. I don't know if I am planning to follow the Live Fit plan but I do plan to focus on weight lifting in addition to burning calories. I was starting to feel so strong. On a lighter note, my family has decided to alter our Christmas meal and have a traditional meat and potatoes dinner instead of all the casserole we load up on. I am so happy for the change and hope it will keep me from another month of troubles.
