I had one whole day without any bacterial flare ups
. The first time in over 3 months!!! Yippee!!! I will continue to treat my ears, wash frequently, change the bedding frequently, use ear oil, and ice them. I am also drinking lemon/pepper often. I am working on getting my carbs way down as well. I'm not perfect yet. I did have some real ice cream (full fat organic, one serving, measured by weight.) and I tasted a pierogi lasagna I made last night (for Mom's office party.) But, like they say in the South Beach book, I just got right back on my normal low carb diet. I had some yogurt (cream on top/plain) and two hot dogs (nitrate/nitrite free) for breakfast, lunch was roast beef and veggies. Dinner will be turkey, cabbage, and egg drop soup. Its so tasty!!
I did not do my workout today. I was tired
. I will do a meditation tonight to make sure that I do my workout tomorrow. Focus will win the day.
I watched Dr. Oz this afternoon. He had a psychologist on who has lost a lot of weight by asking herself 'Would an apple satisfy the hunger I have?" I think thats very clever. I noticed that I fall under each of the categories of non-hunger associated eating. I eat when I am bored. I eat because the clock says so (I'm afraid I won't have the opportunity later.) I eat because I'm afraid of being hungry. I eat because it smells good. I will need to do meditations to clear each of those tendencies.
