Now and then I would see the virtual model figures people have and think that was pretty cool and wonder where to find them. Yesterday I saw a progression that included a website! And I realized that with my current goals, it wouldn't probably tell me what I needed to know. (Actually I checked the link and it's not readily apparent how to use the resource, the website seems to be set up for vendors and not end users at this point at mvm.com.)
But it did give me an idea, that my biggest jeans were probably still in the giveaway bag in the car. So I lined up my jeans on the table. I took about a dozen different shots with different arrangements. I tried jeans in each size and centered vs. lined up to one side. I tried natural lit and shallow dept of field. This picture best matches my "proof" photo of me wearing the smallest jeans, even though it may not be the best picture from a techical standpoint.
As for why I don't feel like a virtual model would tell me much at this point, I don't know what weight I will wind up at when I am fit enough to reach some of my goals. I hope I will be pretty buff up top. I don't mind having wide hips. I think the more bodyfat goes away, the less I will look like what a computer could extrapolate. Well just have to see when we get there.
