Training Course and New Challenges

Afternoon (Well it is here is rainy Birmingham, England.

I was threw straight out of regime and comfort zone last week being on a training course in the middle of the city center.

First thing was a canteen but food choices were not of my taste or really high in calories.
Secondly Full butter biscuits were available free as was hot drinks all day.
Third due to the technical nature on intense Advaced Linux training, there were breaks every hour which made temptation and ability to act on that temptation easy.
Fourth and last thing, i had no time to go swimming in morning due to early time had to leave and feeling tired and drained at the end a days training.

This was a challenging week.

Well first day it took me 3 hours to get into town and to course training site.. Traffic was awful.

I had mix of black coffee and white coffee all week.
I managed to allow myself 2 packs of 2 buscuits each day, i chose the oat biscuits as they seems better choice.
I had to work through breaks as could not resist the urge if was sitting around stunning tasting foods.
I ensured i forced myself to go to the gym every day accept friday as had my daughter. I spent on between 3-3.5 hours each day at the gym working off them biscuits.

I must admit i did really find this week very hard, especially as other people in group purchased lots of treats for all to have in room whilst working.. I am happy to say i never touched a single chocolate or sweet.

Overall it shows me i can be strong willed and resist most things when in that environment. This will be tested very heavily with christmas season upon us.

Well wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year if dont manage to Blog again before then..

Come hoing the new years target goal weight challenge if you need a goal to keep motivated.

    You should be super proud of yourself, one day training courses are bad enough...

though last time the buffet was swarmed by really rude people and my Nursery ended up with not actually any food left... was a disgrace to those people people taking multiple plates and us all having some manners and waiting.

  I like that you chose the oatmeal cookies from all your other choices - at least they have some fiber. Working out for 3-3.5 hours a day would exhaust me, so congratulations on your strength and endurance. Keep up the good work - especially building your temptation resistance which you did so well this week emoticon .
