Well, hubby's stuffed chicken breasts that were planned for dinner last night went into the oven about 5 minutes before the electricity went out. Thankfully, the oven had been pre-heated and he'd left the iron grill in by mistake. So, dinner was over an hour late . . . and I was already starving. I was ready to raid the kitchen . . . but didn't.
When the chicken finally cooked (thank God for the grill!) I ate my portion of cold green beans out of the can and stuffed chicken breast which only filled up one small corner of my empty tummy.
Half an hour after dinner, I was still hungry and had a piece of bread and half a tablespoon of peanut butter thinking that would fill the gap. (Still well inside my nutrition range but didn't know it because I had no internet.)
I woke up several times hungry last night and drank cold water.
The high winds in last night's storm brought down a lot of branches (we live on 5 wooded acres) so this morning after breakfast, I spent almost an hour huffin & puffin, dragging limbs and debris and clearing our driveway and lawn area.
By 10:30 I'm starving again. So, I had a second breakfast (ham & eggs w/veggies & mushrooms). More water.
By 12:30, I've already had 8 glasses of water, chewed some gum, everything I can think of . . . Same thing. Starving again. So I had a tuna salad with a double helping of salad, and a 100 cal bag of popcorn.
I still want to do my scheduled core/ab workout routine.
I already have dinner planned out and I'm still within range. But I know I'm going to be famished before dinner at 6:30.
This doesn't happen very often, but I recognize that in the past . . . this spells B-I-N-G-E !!!!
HELP!!! What do you do when you can't eat enough to fill you up?
