Day 9: I must admit that I've always used the scale as my main motivator whenever I have tried to lose weight. Perhaps this is why I haven't been hugely successful over the past several years. I know that as soon as I see the numbers on the scale not drop or go up my motivation takes a nosedive. I usually would weigh myself everyday to keep my motivation going, but on the flip-side, it's also a major demotivator on those days the weight doesn't go down. So now to think up something to use as a motivator rather than the scale and commit to weighing myself only once a week.
I took the day off from logging all my food yesterday...big mistake! Lesson learned: I need to try to log every meal every day...at least for now.
