I did not jog this morning. So the bed won. I had a long week last week and I only had Saturday as my day off. I spent most of Saturday doing laundry and housework , was exhausted Saturday night but I did not sleep well. I felt kind of groggy Sunday morning but I exercise because it usually wakes me up and it did. I went to work Sunday, came home and was ironing when I realized, that I was really tired. I went to be at 11 and almost instantly fell asleep, it was so weird, it was as if I passed out. I had a great night's sleep.
Cue Monday morning, one of my prescribed jogging days. I hear stirring in my house, it takes me a while to fight out of sleep, when I am semi- awake I realize that my father is up early, I go to use the bathroom, it is dark. I am thinking to myself "what time is it? O god please don't let it be anywhere near 6". I look at my phone it is actually 5:57, I was so sleepy , i just dove back into my bed. I woke up 7:30. lol. The bed won. I swear something special was in it I just couldn't get out.
After a while I just mustered up the energy and broke free from its captivity, but I still felt lazy. Yoga to the rescue! I realize that my body can't wake up properly in the mornings unless I do some form of exercise. So I did get something in, mark you I was late for work because it would seem as if my body was on go slow plus I woke late. It was worth it though.
Round 4 with the bed tomorrow. I am going to arm myself though. I will get to bed by 10:30 and I will wear my jogging clothes to bed. Wish me luck.
