On the bright side, the girls are feeling better. Sarane's fever broke early Friday. Elora still has a runny nose but it's much better. No meds needed other than Tylenol and Advil. Neither of the girls have ever had antibiotics. I'm hoping to keep that trend going as long as possible.
I had a fairly busy weekend. Saturday I spent a few hours at the hospital with my best friend. She had a baby girl on Friday. It's her fourth child but her first c-section. She seems to be doing really well. I know I wasn't moving as easily as her after either of mine.
Then I had a massive haul at the grocery store. I know that doesn't sound like a big deal but I love to see how much I can save with my coupons! It's challenging to find coupons for a lot of the stuff we eat. So I pounce on it when I do. The last two weeks I have save over 20%. When we ate like crap I could save in the 30% easily. Since we started eating healthy, I have averaged 15%. Also I get a little woot because I don't have to buy diapers for at least three weeks! Meijer's had a deal if you bought two giant boxes of Pampers then you got a free $15 giftcard. I also had two $2 coupons so it ended up being a really good deal!
Then yesterday I went to my mom's for a bit. After that I went to the bookstore to get my nephew's present. I bought him a storybook that has 40 stories geared towards boys. I also bought him two pirate books. While I was there I picked up our new calendar (where did this year go?) and The Primal Blueprint 21 Day Total Body Transformation by Mark Sisson. I can't wait to start it on Jan 2!
This week I am cleaning house, wrapping presents, decorating a little and prepping myself for the coming holiday. Sunday we are driving an hour and a half to my sister in law's for Christmas with them. Next Monday is Christmas Eve at my Gramma's house. We finish up with Christmas brunch at my parents. For differing reasons, I am not looking forward to any of it. Especially my parents. If I don't check in after Christmas, just assume I snapped and am locked up somewhere.
