Crazy winter weather...Update

Monday, December 17, 2012

They are predicting rain off and on all week until Friday and Saturday when we are to get snow. Just in time for Christmas. We have been getting an abnormal amount of rain for this time of year but our area evidently needs it. It has been cloudy and dreary most of the day but it is 56 degrees. I do love the temperature!!! By Friday the temperatures will drop to 24 degrees. Then I will probably complain of the cold. LOL!!! For today, I am just looking on the bright side. Our temperature today eliminates any chance of snow. WOOHOO!!!

I have an 8:30 doctor's appointment with my family doctor tomorrow morning. My back and neck are feeling much better...thanks to a great chiropractor. I will see him again tomorrow after my regular doctor appointment… just to make sure things are going well.

Ken is doing very well. His home health nurse will be stopping one day this week to discharge him. What a blessing she has been!!! She has a terrific sense of humor and is always in a good mood when she is here. I know she sees some terrible things during her day. I praise God that we are not one of them. Our problems are so very minor compared to many. PTL!!!

Have a wonderful week filled with blessings!!! Remember to hug your loved ones and share your smiles daily. A smile may just be what someone needs to make their day and it is so easy to share them. Share your smiles with those you see today and even when answering your phone. It does come across in your voice if you are smiling.
Blessings, love and hugs,

Thankful for each new day that I am given!!!
Unexpected twists and turns in our lives
God is in the "miracle" business!!!
A wonderful home health nurse.
Ken's back is healing nicely.
McKenzie's mom was able to work from home today and be with her.
Thank you, Lord, for your guidance and patience with me.
Too many positives and blessings to list them all here...Praise the Lord!!!

Wonderful to hear you and Ken are doing so much better! Seems like everyone's weather is strange! I sure winter hadn't have come so early, hard and fast here. Seems like months since it started!! We have a white Christmas to celebrate for sure!

Wonderful to hear both you and Ken are on the mend. emoticon
Wish you could send us some of the rain. We aren't getting much. Had some last week and it was a blessing. Hope you can stay warm-at 65 we start to freeze down here and there are rumors of getting cold down here for Christmas (39 or so!). Now that is cold for us so hope they are wrong. we will be joining the bears in hibernation if it does get that cold.

Glad you and Ken are doing better. Hope your doctor appointment goes well.
Our weatherman is also calling for rain every day this week but our temperatures remain high so at least we don't have to worry about snow!

Hope you have a good holiday!

I'm also glad that snow is not in my immediate forecast.......though the clouds and misty rain/showers are a bit of a bummer!

Best wishes to you, Ken and your family!
