I decided to have a Vitapizza before the party. I think they taste just ok, but they come in handy sometimes & worked for me last night. I might just buy some more.
Turns out the party could have been dinner, had I known, but it also would have been a very late dinner for me & if I hadn't eaten beforehand I would almost certainly have overeaten.
So what did I eat?
Carrots & celery
2 large cocktail shrimp
3 crackers with maybe 2 oz baked Brie (yummy!)
1 1/2 tbsp potato sald (approximately)
I tallied that up & felt I did pretty well then oops! Remember I'd also had maybe 1/4 cup pasta with broccoli rapini. Added that in. Still pretty good. I'd give myself maybe a B+.
I brought a bunch of gluten free cookies I'd baked - one of the hosts has celiac disease. I kept some of those at home, too. And I made some chocolate Paleo pancakes this morning. Just like advertised, they were a bit dry- not sure I'd make these again but maybe. I'd been eating a lot of oatmeal lately & needed something different. Thankfully I don't have gluten issues but I like to experiment & feel it's healthy to mix things up.

. The decadent balls were DH approved & he's a harsh critic, being fairly addicted to high fat, high sugar baked goods (hey, with the main ingredients being chocolate & coconut oil how can you go wrong?)
