Truth of the day...

Ye-ouch!! How much truth there is in that sentence!

Ask me how much I WANTED to work out today?! (The answer: ZERO! ZILCH! NADA!)

I plopped that 3 mile workout on. I did it. It was hard...but I did it. And now I feel so much better for having done so.

I hope I read this blog next time I decide "I think I'm just going to skip working out today!"

I think the struggle I went through today, is what is going to make me feel super strong and awesome on my workout tomorrow! And I wouldn't have gotten there, if I hadn't bothered to work out today!

I'm doing it!! I'm doing it.....I'm three weeks in!!! emoticon

    I love that moment in an exercise streak when working out shifts from a "have to" to a "want to." Or even better..."a need to or I'm going to lose it on everyone and everything around me, just go away and let me run."

    Oh, that is SO true -- the older I get the more true it is, LOL !

    Way to go for making yourself do it when you'd rather not... usually getting started seems to be the hardest part for me.

    Keep it up! I always say I hate running, but I love to stop! emoticon However, I love to walk and I am a fast walker naturally. So I get out and either walk or run daily! Keep up the great work! emoticon

    Great blog. And, thanks for commenting on my 15 mile LR blog yesterday. I have been exercising for so long, over 40 years, I never get that "dread the workout' feeling that you describe. I used to. But it truly has become a way of life for me. Sometimes I'm not into it, but almost always, I look forward to it.
    So, I guess I'm saying "all you have to do is keep exercising until you get old, and you will be fine". LOL. Sorry for the dumb humor, but keep up pushing, it will eventually become a way of life for you, too.
    Congrats on all you have accomplished. There is more to come!!
