I can think of four 'f' words that matter most at the moment:
I missed my nine month SparkPeople anniversary on 11 November 2012. No matter. Nothing has changed since then, except perhaps missing the opportunity to reflect on the last three months.
Yes, that's right. I haven't lost any further weight
But then, I haven't put any on either
With all the end of year functions and parties, my plan is to simply stay put. That is, maintain my loss of 6kg
It's not that I am tempted by additional food and alcohol, but I realise that I do have a routine of when I exercise, and what and when I eat. The exercise I am managing to keep up, and I try to make food choices that I an aware of already, i.e. they are already in my SparkPeople food tracker. Note: I don't want to stop tracking my food, but a lot of new items takes a time that I don't have at the moment.
I recognise that I need to step up the exercise, as I think the trips to and from work on my bike have simply become 'normal activities'. But it is difficult to squeeze more in at the moment because of the push to get things done before the end of the year and the additional socialising.
However, I am working on other areas while maintaining my food and exercise goals, and that is improving the length and quality of sleep and practising stress management skills. Additional exercise does slip in though, as I use the short SparkPeople exercise videos as one of the items in my stress management tool box
I'm not going to make any New Year resolutions, but I am going to re-assess/re-affirm my goals during the quiet time in the holidays
