do 30 minutes on the treadmill. speed: 3 mph, incline: 10%.
yes, i said 10%. 1 with a 0 after it. i bet you didn't realize the treadmill incline goes up that high, did you? [actually, i think most go up to 15% (aka "just grab the bars and hang on for dear life")]
running makes me extremely short of breath (yayyyy asthma!), so when i hit the treadmill i generally power walk on an incline. i couldn't remember if i'd ever gone up to 10%, so i figured it wouldn't hurt to try it this morning. and, ok, maybe i did more like 25 minutes. but when i finished the workout, i was like "i DID that ish right there." i felt like a boss.
