Finally getting into the Christmas Spirit...

Saturday, December 15, 2012

Getting into the Christmas spirit...Well, I am through with my finals in college and ready to go shopping. I have put everything on hold for school. Now it is time to relax for a while and enjoy the holiday. I was a little disappointed that I didn't make the Dean's list this semester, but considering it is my first time back to school in a lot of years, I think I did pretty good. I was beating myself up for a while, because I overlooked a couple of assignments and that's what brought my grade down. My GPA was 3.48. Can you believe it? Just 2 points away from 3.50 to make the list. Is anyone else going through this? I am too hard on myself sometimes, though. Well I am going to relax for 3 weeks and get back at it. Now that I know what to expect, I know I'll do better. Hope I can be just as vigilant when it comes to losing this weight. I want to look good for graduation in 2 years. I hope everyone is doing well. The holidays is a time when it is hard to stick to eating right, but we can do it with help from support of our friends here at SparkPeople. Please enjoy your families and friends as much as you can. I know I will. I love this time of year. It is getting cold now, here in North Carolina. It has been mild for the last few years in December. Hope we have a white Christmas. I don't mind being out of work for a while. LOL. Well, I need to get ready to go to a Christmas Party tonight. I will talk to everyone later. emoticon emoticon

Congratulations on making it through the semester, and don't beat yourself up cause you didn't make the Dean's List. I'm sure you will make it next semester. Hope you and your family have a Great Christmas! Remember, Jesus is the Reason for the Season! Keep Him first on your Christmas list! Take care!
