Tracking Weight & The Yellow Line

I changed my goal tracker on my start page to adjust for my real life weight of the here and now. It was too depressing to see the chart with the yellow goal line so far below the zigzagging actual my weight line. That nice yellow line is such a nice neat progression downward to goal. My weight line was getting further and further away from the lovely yellow line. The reality of my weight line is more like 2 pounds up and 3 pounds down, stay the same, bounce up 4, drop 2, stay the same, stay the same, stay the same. The efforts towards progress showed on the graph. But one had to look to see those changes towards progress. My fitness, and nutrition, and sleep, and community, and all the other parts of this "caravan trip" were getting lost under the weight of the yellow weight line. The very real efforts and sense of accomplishment were getting lost because of the slow progress on the scale and the contrast to the perfectly sloping yellow line! So I changed it. I moved the start date and the end date on my weight tracker. And now the yellow line is above my weight line. Hooray! Instant progress!
