Starting the last half of Chapter 9. A couple of days ago, I envisioned this would be a proud day, after finding myself back on track now for thirty some days. Somewhere in this mix, I switched my plan over to WW Points Plus trial without really abandoning PLAN for Chapter 9.
Yesterday, I made a several bad choices. Ordinarily, I would be standing at the rooftop, screaming, "I am off PLAN." And, be feeling guilty, and feeling the sting of failure. I don't, although I am fully aware of my bad behavior.
Why are things different? First, WW has this thing called a weekly allowance and I had 75% of it left to offset yesterday's eating. Second, my Ch 9 Plan had enough flexibility in it for Eating Event Days and one Cheat Day. So the jury is still out on this one. I will weigh in tomorrow, and if I weigh more, I will pronounce that WW weeklies and my Ch 9 PLAN are too flexible. We shall see. Because I feel like I am conducting an experiment, I am less inclined to feel the burn of failure.
The Christmas Concert at the philharmonic was beautiful and relaxing.
Everything was free.
Lunch was delicious and at a restored historic hotel that I'd been wanting to visit.
Because the restaurant screwed up the event for the seniors, the "planning group" was given a $60 voucher (3x$60). I turned mine over to them, since I was a guest of my SILs....so I'm sure that made them very happy to split $180 in half).
Spent some nice time with SIL
Enjoyed my break from client work
On Plan (or am I?)
Do what is necessary to stay ON PLAN
Go look at Craig's List rocking chair today
Make a batch of cookies for tomorrow's soiree
Make the stuffing for pierogi's today
Decorate the house for the holidays
Get whatever food items are needed for tomorrow
Let's not get discouraged. Let's focus on today and create a healthy and fit day, one small step at a time.
"If we are facing in the right direction, all we have to do is keep on walking." -Buddhist proverb
Walked 4 miles
House is decorated
Child's rocking chair was the deal of the day! Only $10, it's a beaut! I've had good luck with Craig's List!
Looks like all of my cooking is moved over to Sunday.
