Nature is all around us to discover and enjoy.
Take a closer look at the wonder!

Seeing God's creatures from afar is good,
but look closer at the beauty-see the wonder!

When we apprecate the glories of God's creation,
Our hearts are changed, and our spirits quieted.

Take time today.
What do you see?
Be thankful for the beauty!

There's nothing like a lovely bird visiting your feeder to make you quiet and appreciate nature.

No, I did not personally take the photos. I really love them, and have them in my personal collection of photos from friends.

red cardinals beautfitul. We have plenty of blue jays and squirrels. I have begun to feed them bread crumbs. Now I have to see which ones get the bread sometimes it is a battle. emoticon

We get waxwings in the UK but not cardinals. I saw chaffinches and a jay last weekend.

Absolutely gorgeous photos! I love how cardinals look in the snow, and how true what your saying is. Whenever things get stressful and hectic, I try to get out in the quiet of God's creation...it really helps to quiet the soul and mind.

So appreciate the reminder to pay attention to the gifts of life all around us. I do love Cardinals too. They are special to me because I was raised in the Northwest and never saw them until I moved east. Thrilling. (And red IS my favorite color!)

Cardinals are my favorite birds. We don't often get them at our bird feeders.
