Motivational techniques that work for me

It has taken along time for me to figure out what works for me. It's a real combination of stuff but the major one is having my wonderful man right beside me. It hasn't happened overnight but I've created a monster, he's all mine and I love him to bits. He was a couch potato when I first started my journey but he's now along for the ride. He was the one who signed us up for an adventure run. He's the one who has bought extra fitness equipment for us and he's the one who has adapted the menu planning and cooking to keep our calories in check.
My other motivators are SparkCoach, fitbit and myfinesspal - an android phone app that makes it much easier for me to log my food. It syncs with fitbit and the combination of the three keeps me up to date on whether I'm doing enough in the day to meet my goals. I love my life!
