And more miles

Friday, December 14, 2012

Cooper and I added another 12.7 miles to our weekly mileage today. He was flagging on our second walk of the day... I think I finally tired him out. I have walked him over 70 miles this week, so he should be plenty tired. Tomorrow is our rest day, so I will cut him a break and take him for short walks.

I am planning on my usual Saturday tomorrow with the Farmer's Market in the morning, lunch with mom and dad (fish is on the menu), a little visiting, then home to walk the dog and clean my apartment.

The manager of my building was handing out the Christmas gift they give to all the tenants each year. It is usually some kind of sweet, and they stayed true to form. This year's gift is a box of assorted chocolates. I don't know what I will do with them, maybe give them away. I don't particularly like milk chocolate, so they aren't very tempting, but I know if I get up in the middle of the night looking for a snack I could easily eat the whole box in one sitting. So, yeah, giving them away sounds like a good idea.

Yeah on wearing out Cooper! It is always great when you can wear the dog out!

Good idea on the chocolates. It is a nice gesture but I would just forward them oun.

That is so nice that the landlord gives you a Christmas gift!
Most landlords don't.
Great job on the mileage.

You might check out the chocolate info at eattodefeat.org before you throw it out. Though it does sound as if the company might have add too much sugar. Check the Practical considerations tab on this link:

I would be tempted, so giving them away is a smart move.
