Thanks for responding. Were you hyperthyroid?. I think it ads to the anxiety. I have been feeling very anxious and heart palpitations. How long did you stay in the hospital?

I had thryoid surgery in July 2009 . Great expereince . My inicision was only 1 inch long Hardest thing was keeping my levels stable after that
Then last Aug had parathryoid gland surgery which was even quicker and my recovery was immediate.
One thing that both doctors told me was to make sure you had 2400 mgs of calcium each day for the first two weeks. It did make a difference
