Pray for our Nation; Pray for Connecticut

Friday, December 14, 2012

I heard about the shooting this afternoon and am horrified at the details and pictures that are emerging. As a mother and grandmother, I cannot fathom what these families are going through. I just pray that God will take them in His arms and hold onto each of them.

I also pray for our Nation, for what it has become, and where it is going. I do not pretend to understand why people have so much hate in them that they have to take innocent lives. If you're going to take it out on someone, take it out on yourself, not innocent children and bystanders.

Just pray tonight and hold your dear ones a little closer. Amen!

My thoughts and prayers to got to the families going thru this tragedy. Living in Colorado I can't help but to remember Columbine and the lesser know school shooting in Bailey, CO just a few years later. Just makes me so sad that there is so much unnecessary violence with innocents caught in the middle. emoticon

I so agree with everything you are saying - I called my children & told them all how much I loved them! Of course they wanted to know what was wrong with mom!

Its too bad that's for sure. I could say more but I think at this time political statements should stay out of it. (except to say Iam NOT anti gun but there are a lot in my country who have been brainwashed into it).

Horrible tragedy! So upset about the whole situation. I also have a child in 3rd. grade and 10th and unfortunately we live in Denver so for us every time this senseless act happens it always takes us back to Columbine!

Prayers are definitely needed at this time for some kind of healing!

It makes you wonder what is reallhy going on in someone's
life, that there is so much hatred. Innocent children and
adults died for absolutely no reason. Praying for all.

Horrible tragedy, How do mentally challenged people attain assault weapons? I am not for gun control, people have a right to own guns for hunting or for personal protection. There is no reason for people to have assault weapons that shoot many rounds. Prayers for all.

More and more of these types of tragedies are occurring in our country. I personally believe that it's part of a move away from worshipping and obeying God. But whatever your beliefs, it's terrible, and one can only hope 'they' find a way to identify BEFOREHAND the people that would do such awful things. I'll be praying.
