I listened today to a podcast about keeping a success journal, as a tool for weight release. It came at the perfect time. My aunt last night gave me great advice, she said that when I find myself having a negative or anxious thought, I need to wave it away and say "not helpful". This podcast reinforced her strategy. The more we focus on something, the stronger it gets. Well, at this time of my life, I am very in need of focusing on what is going right and making it very very apparent.
So today begins my renewed commitment to my own health, well-being, positivity, and noticing what I'm doing right.
Today I give myself credit for...
1. Writing this blog entry.
2. Doing yoga and jogging for 50 minutes.
3. Tracking my weight.
4. Preparing delicious, healthy foods and carrying them to work.
My intentions for today are to...
1. Eat seated, slowly and mindfully, when I'm hungry.
2. Look for the good.
3. Be present.
