You know that deal you make with yourself when you don't want to work out, but know you need to? The "I can do anything for 10 minutes" deal? I had never made that deal with myself...until this morning. I decided I needed to do some exercise, but I was in a bit of a time crunch. So I did a modified version of the deal: instead of my semi-usual 30-minute minimum workout, I'd do a one-mile Leslie Sansone DVD walk. Which is approximately 17 minutes. And I did it! And I feel like I got some exercise in.
Maybe I should do that more often. :P I think I'm finally on the right BP med, and my nausea is going away--stupid Advil I'd been taking all summer eroded my stomach lining and my energy level. Been on Prilosec since last Monday--have a 28-day regimen going. Now that I'm feeling better, I'm more inclined to exercise. Even if it's truncated, it's better than not exercising.
Go me! :P
