I miss exercise. I really do! I have not had the time to do it. I'm with Joey all day and sometimes I can get it in while he naps and sometimes I can't. So I'm really pondering the idea of getting up at 5:30 and exercising for one hour a day. I'm finally trying out my Wii fit which is harder than I thought. My husband said the same thing and he's much fitter than I am. I don't always go to bed at a decent hour but I could work on that. I'm home all day so I guess it might be worth giving it a whirl because I'm usually awake at that hour anyway from bathroom breaks or Joey waking me etc.

I'll let you know how it goes. LOL.

    Wii Fit has some hard things and some easy things. Every day I start out with a body check. Then I do the hula hoop, step aerobics and short run. 14 minutes of fitness done! I'm usually breathless at that point so I drink a little water and come back and do a balance game or something. When I get energized again, I do the obstacle course which used to be so hard! My son taught me some tricks so now I can actually finish the whole thing without falling off. It's really fun! Another thing that is fun and no pressure is the bike ride. You don't have time constraints so you can just find the targets at your own pace--it involves walking on the balance board the whole time steering with the remote. My son is crazy about it. I do it so I can log some Wii minutes and burn some calories. I don't always get breathless doing Wii, but I AM off my chair and engaged in activity. According to Wii Fit, I am losing weight!

This whole thing is just as much in your head as a physical thing. I am working on the mental part.

    I love getting up early to get my work out in before everyone is up and going. It gives me all sorts of energy to get through the day.

I hope you get a workout schedule settled soon. I hate when I miss mine.

    That would be awesome! You can do anything you put your mind to. What kind of exercise are you going to do? I used to do the treadmill in the wee hours of the morning, I'd go down in the basement with a pot of coffee in water bottles and get in my hour. Now that the kids are grown, I have more time in my day, so I don't walk in the mornings often, but when I know that I don't have time during the day to get in a walk, I will hop on the TM before work.
