Going To Have My Leg Manipulated

Thursday, December 13, 2012

Hi everyone, I found out yesterday that I will next Tuesday morning to have my leg manipulated through day surgery. I wasn't expecting to get in right away but my surgeon doesn't want to wait until January to do it because he will be doing my left leg about 6 months to a year after that. I can't wait until I get it done so I can start to walk without a limp again. I am so excited to have it done but there is a 5o% chance that my leg with break but I dont care because I just want the pain to stop.

I have also lost a total of 35.1 lbs so far and I am keeping it off finally. If I keep losing weight as fast as I have been I will be down to my normal size before next summer. I feel great and I am starting to fit back into my size 20 jeans now. Which means I lost 11 inches off my waist and also about 6 inches off my chest, I will take a picture of what I look like now and upload it to my page.

I am starting to do some house work now to keep my self busy and to keep the weight off and after Tuesday I will be back into doing my fitness and most of all my zumba, I can't wait until then because I have some new zumba moves that I want to try out and I know that if I want this bad enough I will succeed no problem at all.

I have been eating all the right kinds of foods for the past week and so far I am doing pretty good and I will keep track of everything I put into my stomach.

4 oz glass milk
4 oz glass of juice
1/2 cup of cereal
2 slices of toast (whole wheat)
1 boiled egg
1/2 cup of yogurt

4 oz milk
4 oz water
2 slice whole wheat bread
1 slice ham
1 slice of cheese
1 slice of lettuce
1 cup of veggie soup
1/2 cup yogurt

4 oz milk
6 oz water
1 med. potato
1 piece of pork chop (size of a deck of cards)
2 cups of veggies
1/2 cup of frozen yogurt ice cream

1 cup of yogurt
1/2 cup of granola

I will be eating like this everyday and then change it first week of January. I try and change my menu each week so that I don't get bored with my meals. I am still even drinking 14 glasses of water each day and will continue to do so from now on.

Wish me luck and I hope to hear from you all

Hi everyone, the knee manipulation went well and i am able to straighten my leg finally. My leg hurts when I try and straighten it but it is worth the pain to be able to do the straightening. I have to go for a recheck on the 28 of this month and I know that i will have xrays as well. My doctor is a little worried that it will heal the wrong way. if I straighten my leg and leave it to long then it will heal that way. I never want to wish this on my worst enemy because I went into the operating room at 3:10 and didnt get out of the recovery room until after 5pm my time. I lost the bend i had and everything so now I have to work at it all again.
