WOW, What a year it has been! I would never have imagined I would make it this far on my fitness journey..honestly I expected myself to give up by now. That was the normal cycle I would go through start a program,stop a program, lose some,gain A LOT back. But spark people and my trainer really just worked for me. I also had a better support system which made it easier too. And I guess I just reached that breaking point where enough was enough. ANYONE CAN DO THIS, NEVER LOSE HOPE ON YOUR SELF IT CAN BE DONE. HARD WORK AND DEDICATION WILL PAY OFF!

  I have always gone through that same cycle of trying something for a while and then giving up to try something else. You give me MUCH hope that I can really do it with SparkPeople! emoticon

  Thank you for adding me as a friend! I must say your story gives me hope; I had gotten to the point where enough is enough at the end of the year. On January 2nd, I told myself that this was the year! I am glad to hear that sticking to Sparkpeople's guidelines worked for you, because that was a question I posted a couple of weeks ago. I never got a cut and dry answer, but now I know. I have been sticking to the plan with little exercise and am down 14lbs. for the month; 96 more to go! I purchased Jillian Michaels 30 day shred and will probably start it this week.....I also realized at the end of the year, that this was not about going on a diet.............it would be a lifestyle change, because I am never going back to my old ways........Life is too short!

    Thank You! I did stay within the calorie range they gave me mostly everyday, I had bad days here and there, I once ate half a pizza,a milky way,and drank a Dr.Pepper because I was so frustrated with a plateau I hit, and amazingly 3 days later dropped 3 pounds LOL go figure. I typically eat 4-5 times per day. I start with breakfast usually eggs and fruit, then I have my post work out protein shake, lunch is usually a salad, or tuna, something with protein and veggies and healthy fats,then I have dinner protein and veggies. sometimes I snack between lunch and dinner usually almonds or fruit, and i may have a serving of peanut butter before bed.
I just go by the amount of calories SP recommends for my activity level and it does increase as our activity level does. Hope this helps and Good Luck on your journey!

    wowwee kaploweee. All off in one year! Did you use the meal planner done by spark. You before pic is what I look like now is it really for me to lose that much in a year. I have so many questions are you available?

1- did you stick to the calorie they give you everyday?
2-how many times a day do you eat?
3-do you eat more calories now since your an active person?

many more but thesse to start, thnk you inadvance for any resoponse, YOU ROCK! emoticon
