Dont know where to start

Ugh I'm not sure where to start, I keep falling off the wagon and gained more weight :( I'm really depressed and not happy with myself at all.. I have the best boyfriend & an awesome job but I won't ever be completely happy until I get myself together.. But where do I begin??? I have no energy or motivation....HELP!!!

    Swanatopia totally hit the nail on the head. Start with small manageable changes and work your way up. Trying to make a whole mess of big changes all at once is like learning to juggle with the good crystal--eventually something is going to slip and it feels like the end of the world, then you've gotten so upset about the first broken glass, you end up dropping all the rest! Instead start with one rubber ball, you will be able to concentrate and if you drop it, it will bounce right back!

    As for the depression, if it is affecting everything in your life, go check with your doctor! If the depression is something that needs treatment, getting help will make the changes in your life just that much easier. emoticon

    Awwwww, Sweetie, each day is a new oportunity for success. I agree with the last comment: start small. Make small changes that you can live with forever, and before you know it, you'll have so many good habits, that the bad ones have no place in your life! Hang in there. emoticon

    Start simple. Drink 8 glasses of water and stop all sodas, teas and sugars. Once you have a good grip on this, start tracking all your food using the nutritional tracker. Don't worry about calories at this point....just track everything and get in a good habit. You will soon see areas of improvement in eating healthy! Once you get good at swapping out healthier foods, you can introduce a little exercise. Start slow....10 minutes a day and increase slowly.

    Remember, this is a lifestyle change, not a diet. Good luck on your journey!
